New Moms can get overwhelmed with the many types of clothing and equipment that are available today. Do you really need all that? We don’t think so. We believe that it is better to have a few items that are really helpful than to have a closet full unused items.

While a number of manufacturers have taken to calling their products “green”; we carry only pure, organic clothing, bed, bath and personal care products. When you choose your baby basics, remember that babies grow quickly. You won’t need more than 3 or 4 newborn items. Try to incorporate some size 3-6 months and size 6-12 month basics into your layette. You’ll use them before you know it. Cutting down on waste is definitely Going Green.

WHAT YOU REALLY NEED

*Crib and Bedding: We carry 100% organic crib sheets, blankets, crib skirts and shams in 6 different styles. We do not sell cribs but we can certainly make recommendations for natural furniture in your nursery and home.

*Carrier/Sling: We carry 100% organic slings to carry your baby from birth to 30 pounds. Our slings are lined with cream-colored organic cotton. The outside comes in 3 different organic cotton colors and 2 different eco-silk options. These slings are fun, safe and incredibly functional.

*4-5 Bodysuits or Kimonos: We carry 100% organic bodysuits and kimonos from 8 different fair trade manufacturers. Whether you are looking for long-sleeved or short-sleeved; single-jersey or sweat-type material, we have all the options which are sure to fit your needs.

*3 Gowns: From sleep gowns with little sleeves to cover your infant’s soft fingernails to sleep sacks and swaddle sets, we can help you weigh your options.

*1-2 Hats: Babies need a little while before they can self-regulate their temperature. A simple knot-hat or warmer hat for the fall and winter times will help them stay comfortable.

*2-3 Footed Rompers: Babies love kicking off their socks and booties. Especially in the first few months, a footed romper will help them stay cozy. We carry this style from 0-12 months.

*3-4 Pull-on Pants: Some mothers prefer snaps and others like pull-on type pants. All of our selections are made from 100% organic cotton. Mix and match with onesies and shirts for a fun change of pace.

* 4 Receiving Blankets: Because you want to protect your baby from chills, you’ll want a receiving blanket everywhere you go. We carry 100% organic cotton blankets in single jersey, velvet or jacquard finishes. We also love a 100% merino wool blanket with a matching pony.

*”Luvies” and Toys: Even our adult customers love our 100% organic plush animals and natural wood rattles and toys.
